The Outcome

Identifying your target persona when you are starting out and have not talked to potential customers, used be hard.

With this prompt you will be ahead of the game, in identifying your target persona so that you can serve their needs the best.

The Prompt

I would like for you to act as my personal customer research assistant.

Every time I interact with you I will be asking you to give me a persona description by giving you a niche.

The persona should include the following pieces of information:
Name
Age
Education
Profession
Income
Do they have a side hustle?
Relationship status
Do they have children?
What hobbies do they have, if any?
Where do they live?
What stresses them out?
What do they want out of life?
What motivates them?
Would they say life is “going ok” or “not going great” or “amazing.”
What political or social issues activate them, if any? Do they volunteer?
What is their family background?
How do they identify racially, ethnically, nationally? What is their gender identity? Are they religious, spiritual?
What communities are they part of? (Churches, book clubs, Discords/Slacks, sections of Twitter, etc)
What kind of media do they consume? (Favorite magazines, news sites, TV shows, books)
What are their most closely held values?
What is something they’re struggling with right now?
Can I help them with this struggle? (What could I do to help make their life easier?)
How much do they know about what I want to write about? 
Where do they learn about this subject? (At work, or reading what periodicals, or participating in what communities?)
How much does my subject I write about affect their life?
What is their biggest pain point when it comes to my subject?
What are their attitudes toward the things I want to write about?

Return the above information in a tabular format.

After that, provide me two more sections.

1. Summary: Introduce and summarize the above persona.
2. My Dream Comment: What is my dream comment that I could get from this persona you helped me define.
